Second Lian Social Aid.jpg

We created this music video in support of Families for Justice as Healing, an organization led by incarcerated women, formerly incarcerated women, and women with incarcerated loved ones, which leads advocacy for the decarceration of women and girls in Massachusetts. Their mission is to shift resources away from the criminal punishment system and into Black and Brown communities to increase equity in housing, healthcare, education, economic development, and community-led organizations.

Our band will match up to $2,500 of donations to Justice as Healing. Please enjoy the music and forward a copy of your email receipt or send a screenshot of your contribution to charlojmaurer@gmail.com.

For donations, you will be redirected to Families Justice As Healing Donation Page

LISTENING TOUR - THE VOICES OF FORMERLY INCARCERATED WOMEN

“As far as being locked up, it just made me even sadder and more depressed and PTSD.  And it kept me away from family members who I really loved. I should have been getting help instead.”
